Adoption

St. Cats has found homes for hundreds of friendly cats and kittens, rescued from a difficult life on the streets. If you are interested in adopting one of the cats or kittens below, please come meet them in person at our Nay Aug Zoo facility. We are open Wednesdays from 11AM-5PM, most Sundays 12-3, watch our page, (for extra adoption days and donation drop-offs) or call 570-604-4008 to set up an alternative time.

Please be aware we don’t have enough time to post all our cats here. There are usually around 100.

Our adoption process proceeds as follows:

  1. Fill out an Adoption Application. Choose either the Online Adoption Form (click Mandatory Reading below) or Print, which may be brought with you to the Zoo, emailed to stcatsanddogsscranton@gmail.com or mailed to:  St. Cats c/o 1900 E. Gibson Street, Scranton, PA 18510
  2. Come meet the cat or kitten at our facility
  3. We will check your veterinary reference and instead of a home visit, have you send us a video of the main living area and the room the cat will first be acclimated in.
  4. Once your cat or kitten is cleared for adoption, you may make a moderate donation (so we may continue our work!) and take your new kitty home!

All of our cats and kittens are up to date on vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered. Click the gallery photo to find out more about each adoptable.

At any given time we have 60-100 cats and kittens available at our facility!

Turnover is fast so please call 570-604-4008 for an appointment,
or stop by Wednesdays from 11AM-5PM or most Sundays 12-3 to meet your new best friend!

Adoption Fees

We are pleased to announce that all kittens are now microchipped before adoption. The cost of this has raised our adoption fee to $125. Most adult cats are available for a fee of $75.

Kittens!

Sometimes our kittens find homes so fast their photos never make it to the webpage! If you would like to meet our current kitten crew, please stop in on a Wednesday 11-5 or set up an appointment for another day to come in by calling 570-604-4008. Also keep an eye for extra days we are open.

Tilly is 6 months old and extremely friendly.
Thunder is a lovebug.

Special Needs

Some of our cats and kittens have special needs, such as FeLV+, FIV+, food allergies, or other medical issues. It doesn’t make them any less lovable! More photos coming soon!
